Good Morning!

 

Is anyone else counting down the days till Christmas!?! I feel like such a big kid but I can’t say I’m never not excited for Christmas!  It’s such a fun and awesome holiday and every year around this time I feel like the jitters start to get to me.  Last night I started wrapping Christmas presents and that’s when it all hit that this week is it!  Luckily, I finished all my Christmas shopping last week so this week is all about wrapping.

As many of you know I’ve been MIA because I took a trip out to Las Vegas! I went for two reasons 1. to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and 2. to watch the Las Vegas bowl game that the Cougars were in.  Sadly, we lost the game but that didn’t mean our spirits were down I mean IT’S VEGAS!!

We stayed at the Stratosphere on the strip and the hotel was awesome! It wasn’t as close to the strip as we wanted it be but it was still on the strip and close enough to other things that we were interested in! (And I mean there is always Uber, Lyft, and Taxis so…) Of course, it’s a casino so that’s the first thing you see when you walk in the door but it offers so much even for families!  It has an arcade room upstairs for kids and they have three different thrill rides you can choose from!

Of course, for those of age they have the casino and bar downstairs and if you want to see an amazing view of the strip you must check out their 107 Lounge!  You get one of the best views in Vegas! We were treated to some delicious drinks and appetizers (you must go for their happy hour SO GOOD!) The drinks, the food, and the view were absolutely amazing!  It was very romantic and they even had a live DJ! Put this place on your must lists when you visit!

Later we checked out the strip and it was so beautiful.  Literally every casino has their own little twist and was absolutely gorgeous.  They have something for everyone and again with it being Vegas everything stays open so there isn’t a real need to rush.  We went to nightclubs, so many casinos, did a lot of touristy sight-seeing (MUST SEE THE FOUNTAINS AT BELLAGIO!).  I mean anything you can think of we did it! One place that was so yummy that everyone must go to is Serendipity 3.  I mean the Frozen Hot Chocolate speaks for itself! It’s so yummy and they have an adult version if you are wanting to go down that route. 🙂 And finally the shopping.  Guys! It’s kind of overwhelming with all the stores but I can’t say I didn’t enjoy it completely.  I felt like Louis Vuitton was on every corner like a CVS would be (haha!).  It was so beautiful and the shops everywhere were amazing.  Definitely check out the Canal Shops, all the shops in the casinos, and of course the Fashion Show mall! We had such a great time and I can’t wait to go back!  I hope you guys enjoyed and I would love to hear what were some of the things that you did when you went up to Vegas!
