Hello Friday! The weekend is finally here and I’m so ready for it! I got a huge burst of energy closer to the end of this week so I’m exhausted and ready for a break. Today I’m going to be sharing my Top Purchases of 2018.

We all buy a bunch of different things throughout the year and I like to reflect and see what things actually brought me joy that I loved and which ones were just well… thank you, next. I’m going to be sharing my top purchases from the following categories fashion, beauty, and home! Let’s jump right into it.

FASHION

Starting with the one you guys are most excited for and is one of my favorite categories, fashion! A big part of this business is buying clothes that you guys will enjoy but I also love shopping for clothes. I’m going to be listing everything from accessories, shoes, and clothes for this category.

ROUND STRAW BAG

This was a huge win for me and you guys! I bought mine right before I went to Cabo and you guys loved it so much you got yourself one. Straw bags are going to continue to be here through this summer so if you haven’t gotten you hands on one now may be the time!

MARC FISHER WEDGES

Another summer item that I know you guys saw a ton of, my Marc Fisher wedges. I was unsure of these wedges at first because as you can see they have a bit of a platform to them. I was seriously worried for nothing these shoes are so comfortable and adorable! I highly recommend them if you haven’t picked them up. I also found them on sale so SHOP AWAY!

BLANKNYC LEATHER JACKET

This jacket made the top 5 last year and it’s back this year because I got it in a black color and it was a game changer! I’ve grabbing for this jacket more and more especially this month since the temps have been lower in Houston. If you need a new leather jacket I HIGHLY recommend this one.

DENIM MINI SKIRTS

Denim mini skirts have made a huge comeback and I’m living for it. I bought a few new ones this past summer and fall that I love! I seriously feel like I always want to reach for one even now that’s its cooler (actually I wore one last weekend). Honestly you need one, trust me!

BEAUTY

I’ve fully gotten back into beauty and I can’t believe I ever stopped. I got to a learn a lot about my skin and skincare this past year (which was a resolution) and I’ve never been happier with it. This category will share everything from makeup, skincare, hair, and body items.

TULA PRO GLYCOLIC 10% pH RESURFACING GEL

Wow what a mouth full! It’s 2019 and I’m still fully obsessed with Tula. It has been a skincare game changer for me and I have all my love for it! I’ve loved this toner for a long time but I started consistently using it this past year and I’ve definitely seen a difference in my skin. I use it after my cleanser and my skin looks refreshed and smoother. If you’re in the market for a new toner look no further.

KERASTASE RESISTANCE BAIN FORCE ARCHITECTE SHAMPOO

Again, another mouth full. Omg guys before I cut my hair this past summer my hair was a dry hot mess. Started using this shampoo and LIFE MADE. Not only does this product smell amazing but my hair looked brand new with shine and life. I used the entire line and highly recommend it if your hair is weak, brittle, or dry.

T3 TRIO CURLING IRON

I shared this curling iron right before the holidays and it was on my wish list for a LONG time! I was finally able to get one and my love for it is REAL! I’ve only been using it for a few months and I know it’s my new favorite hair tool. If you’re on the fence just pull the trigger and buy it!

RED CARPET LED NAIL GEL POLISH “107 SIMPLY ADORABLE”

This has been my go to nail color for 2018 and probably will continue to be for 2019. It’s the perfect baby pink! If you get gel nails and are looking for the perfect pink try this one.

SIGMA WARM NEUTRALS VOLUME 2 PALETTE

I haven’t loved a new eye palette in so long until this one came into my life. It has so many great neutrals for you to wear daily, for date night, for girls night, I mean literally for everything! I’ve been using this palette non stop and if you see the colors you will know why.

TOO FACED BORN THIS WAY FOUNDATION & CONCEALER

Too Faced killed this whole collection and I literally bowed at it’s feet. I have ran out of the foundation (again) and will continue to use it until a new one wow’s me. Also the concealer is BOMB. It’s extremely creamy and blends so well and is long lasting. TRUST you will love!

HOME

Most of my home purchases were for my office and I’m obsessed with my office space so #noregrets. Most of my office pieces are sold out or out of stock so I will try to find similar pieces to share below.

AMAZON BASICS CLOTHING RACK

I obviously live on Instagram and I wanted a clothing rack in my office SO BADLY! Once we moved in May, I was able to get my clothing rack! It is silver but I bought spray paint and just painted it gold. It’s very simple but I love it and I recently bought a shoe rack to put underneath it for shoes and purses.

HISENSE 40′ TV

I love having the TV on whenever I’m working (you know background noise) and was on the hunt for the perfect one. Thank god for R because he did the research and found this TV on Black Friday for $100! I was sold and it has made my office that much better.

ARTICLE ONEIRA SOFA BED

You guys know I got this beautiful blue velvet couch and it’s literally the center of attention in my office. Everyone compliments it and loves it and honestly once you see it you will know why! I highly recommend buying this sofa bed if you have a guest room or an office that needs a piece of furniture this is it!

So many great purchases in 2018 and I know I will have some amazing ones in 2019. I’m not going to be purchasing as much (at least I think) because of the wedding but I’ll throw in some goodies here or there.
