For my party, the drink of choice was Dr Pepper because who doesn’t love a nice cold soda on a hot pool day!? #2 Snacks

Can’t have a party without snacks! I would definitely say grab something simple because no one wants to spend a crazy amount of time preparing when they can be swimming! My go to is always chips, because who can say no to chips, and fruit! You can munch on them and head right back into the water!

#3 Pool Floats

Who can say no to huge and adorable floats!?! I definitely can’t! Also, if you decide to make it a theme pool party make sure to match the theme and to tell your invitees what you are going for so that everyone is in sync!

#5 Invite friends

It isn’t a party if you don’t invite people so make sure to invite all your girlfriends! There is nothing I love more than putting on a cute suit and hanging out with the girls.  I got to hang out with two other Houston bloggers that I absolutely adore.
