Happy New Year’s everyone!

I hope everyone had a fabulous New Year’s and is ready to start working on their wish list/goals/resolutions. I had a great time celebrating with family & friends! I had some delicious food, drank amazing champagne, watched some and popped some fireworks, and of course got my New Year’s kiss! It was a great way to start the first few hours of the new year. Also for those wondering how the champagne jello shots came out… let’s just say there wasn’t one left! 🙂

Well it’s the first day back into reality. The holidays have come and gone and I feel a little sad about it. I feel like everyone kind of gets in a slump after the holidays are over and it could be for a number for reasons. My main reason is that I’ve gained a ridiculous amount of weight thanks to all the yummy food (It always gets me.) Even though I do get a little sad at the thought of putting away decorations I’m very much excited for 2017.

New year’s always means fresh start to me. Whatever 2016 brought whether good or bad, it’s in the past and we can make it better. I have some big goals set for myself this year (which you can read here) and I can proudly say I’ve started out very strong! I was able to work out yesterday and start my clean body plan. (This will all be in a blog post very soon!)

So, I decided what better way to start 2017 than with pops of pink! Pink is one my favorite colors because it’s just so feminine and pretty and I’m sure most people would love to start out 2017 with that description right!?! I know I “sneak peeked” this outfit in an earlier post but I just love it! It does have a somewhat edgy feel with the black ripped jeans but the shirt, the pink shoes, and the pink clutch just say, “Hi I’m a pretty pink girl over here!” 🙂 I thought it was the perfect outfit post to start out 2017 and I’m excited to post more and for you guys to see more!
