Hello friends and happy summer! It’s been a while since my last post but this is one that I’ve been wanting to write for a few weeks now. I’m going to be recapping my Mexico trip & all about the resort I stayed at. There is still plenty of summer left so if you are heading out to Mexico or are currently planning a trip then this is for you! Let’s jump into the post.
SANDOS CARACOL ECO RESORT VLOG
Sharing a vlog about what we did, a room tour, and the restaurants we ate at while at Sandos Caracol Eco Resort! Just to note we did stay on the Adult Only section of the property. That includes room, the pools, the beach, and one restaurant. The property is family friendly which is on the other side of the resort.
Sandos Caracol Eco Resort also has a lot of animals on site like monkeys, peacocks, and more that roam the property! It’s honestly pretty cool and the animals don’t bother you. They also have other extras like a water park for kids, a petting zoo, and the one thing we really wanted to do but didn’t get a chance was the romantic gondola ride with champagne and strawberries!
VACATION OUTFITS
The best part of vacation besides the relaxing are all the amazing outfits! I prepped for weeks and I absolutely loved every single piece I took with me. I’ve shared majority of them on Instagram but if you are every wanting inspiration for you vacation I’m going to also share them here.
This first outfit was actually worn in Miami. We started the first part of our trip in Miami and honestly it was so fun! We went to a restaurant by the water that overlooked the city and it was absolutely beautiful. I decided to wear something super fun and Miami and this was the look. I’ve linked it below.
Loved this outfit so much and it was honestly the day that most people looked at my outfit and complimented me. Florals have been huge for a long time but I love the loud patterns that have come in and this blue is my go to. Honestly gave off huge energy and I was here for it.
Found these pants last minute at Zara and I knew they were a must! Perfect for the weather in Mexico and they make great vacation pants! This color goes with just about anything but I paired it with this fun black crop top.
This dress was probably one of my favorites because it really accentuated my curves. It’s definitely a bit flirty but I thought it was great for vacation! I paired with with these thong sandals that have a slight heel on them making them a nice dressed up version and my a head scarf.
Again another fun floral 70s print! This one was extra cute for summer vacation and is so on trend with the collar! Paired it with a mini bag an these pretty Zara lace up heels.
Another mini dress and this one is so cute and the perfect shade of green for summer! Found this one at Zara and it was perfect for lunch with some sandals!
Another dress that was my favorite! Found this one last minute at H&M and it was so breathable and great! I wore it on our bike tour around the property. Paired easily with some thong sandals!
Green was my color for Playa Del Carmen. This outfit again was another favorite! I had these palazzo pants since last year but was never able to wear them on vacation because well… 2020. So finally got to wear them with this green crop top. I know you can’t see my shoes but I’m wearing some brown heels that match perfectly with my straw bag.
For the Tulum ruins tour I decided to go something a bit more comfortable and that was some biker shorts and this crop tank with a built in bra. It was HOT so I was so happy I wore something breathable. I took two pairs of workout clothes both the same biker shorts & crop tanks that I recommend!
Last but not least my airport outfit! I forgot to get a picture of the one on the way back but I wanted to share this one with you because it’s so good! I wore this two piece set with sneakers and my hat! It was perfect for a travel day!
SWIMSUITS
Starting off with this nude colored number. It’s a high cut bikini that I paired with this sarong and thong sandals.
I love this paisley printed one and love that the top is a bit longer. I paired it with a bucket hat to keep away the sun from my face.
Love this black bikini so much that I want it in red! It’s so flattering and very on trend! I wore this on Memorial Day so I paired with my USA bucket hat.
Sad I didn’t get a full body shot of this one but it’s so cute! It’s a bikini that is super adjustable because the side ties plus with the top you can tie it a bunch of different ways! The print is super cute because of the bright colors and the floral print makes it so trendy.
Everyone’s favorite was this pink bikini with the sarong and the bikini is less than $20! The color is really bright and fun and I found the perfect snake print sarong to go along with it.
