Happy Friday friends! So happy the weekend is here and I’m going to be celebrating with some fun October festivities. That’s right I have a fun Oktoberfest to attend today and I’m so excited! Follow along on my stories for all the fun. Today I’m going to be sharing all about pumpkin patches in Houston. If you are looking for some October festivities, then this will definitely be perfect for you!
I haven’t visited all of these this year, but I was able to visit two of them. The other two I have visited before and still highly recommend. Let’s jump right into it.
HALTER INC.
ADMISSION COST: $5 children, Free for Adults
PARKING: $5 per car
This one has been talked about a ton in the Houston area because it was visited by the Little Couple. Well I’m here to tell you it is super cute especially if you are going with kids! I visited this one last year and I would definitely go again. They have a ton of activities for kids like a hay ride, pumpkin picking, face painting, and a mini petting zoo. The activities are paid for in tickets so you will need to purchase tickets.
As far as pumpkins picking, you will also need tickets to purchase your pumpkin. If you want to save some money click here to purchase children’s admission and tickets.
MEMORIAL DRIVE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
ADMISSION COST: FREE
PARKING: FREE
This was one of the patches I got to visit this year and it was so cute! I went on a late Sunday and there were not many people which made it perfect to really get photos. You will definitely get a ton of photo opportunities here. This one doesn’t have any activities, but you can still do some pumpkin picking.
They have a few different price points depending on what size you choose. If you are looking for something to do and without spending too much money this one is definitely for you. You can get more information about it here.
OLD CHRISTMAS TREE FARM
ADMISSION COST: $5 for ages 2 & up
PARKING: FREE
This is one is probably my favorite pumpkin patch! It has so many cute activities for kids and they have so many pumpkins! They also have a ticketing system, so you will need to purchase tickets for any of the activities there. There are also food vendors on site for you to purchase food during your visit.
One of my favorite things about this place is that it is dog friendly! Perfect to take family photos with pets! This one is far on the north side of Houston so if you live in that area I highly suggest it! I didn’t go to this one this year but have gone in the past and need to make a trip back out! You can find out all about this one here.
ST LUKE’S UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
ADMISSION COST: FREE
PARKING: FREE
Last but not least is another church pumpkin patch and it’s free! This one is so adorable and has a ton of pumpkins! You can find it in the River Oaks area. They have wagons available for you to add all your pumpkins in and they make a great prop for photos.
They don’t have any activities here like some of the other ones but it’s still just as cute. If you are looking for something low key and can still get some amazing pictures this is your spot. Here is more information on this one. I’ve shared some of my photos from the pumpkin on this post!
I hope you guys enjoyed and were able to find a good pumpkin patch this year! If you have any recommendations I would love to hear them!
