Hey friends happy Thursday! Remember how I said I was going to try to get a post up well here you go! I am so excited to tell you guys all about my trip to Dallas last weekend where I attended Kaaboo! I had such a good time and was so excited to be invited out and I’m beyond excited to bring you guys my Kaaboo Festival Recap! Let’s jump in.
So Kaaboo is not only a music festival but also an art and comedy festival. It was really great to see so many artists creating beautiful art and seeing so many different artists representing all kinds of art. I sadly wasn’t able to make it to any comedy shows but there were so many great comedians there. Hopefully next year I can catch some of the shows.
Last but not least the music! I’m a huge music fan so I was excited to see the performances. Let me just say they did not disappoint! I got to see The Killers, Flo Rida, and Black Eyed Peas which I found out are going on tour this summer! Every performance was AMAZING! I actually got some video coverage which will be going up on IGTV really soon!
There was one spot that I didn’t get to visit and that was the Rowdy stage which looked like it was set up really cool! They had a pool in the middle and had different DJ’s performing throughout the day. It is a separate ticket from your pass but if you really like DJ’s then I highly recommend it.
OVERALL
My overall thoughts on the festival are definitely go! There is literally entertainment for any age group and person plus they have all kinds of amazing food! They did have some fun pop up stations like the Bai pop up which was super cute and the drinks so good! They also had a few gaming ones for the guys in you life and last but not least they had a bunch of different liquor/wine stands. Of course those were nothing but amazing!
This was the first year that Kaaboo was in Dallas but I can definitely see myself going back and if you live in the south or in Texas I highly recommend checking it out next year. I hope you guys enjoyed my recap as well as all my photos!
OUTFITS
One of my most asked about questions this past weekend were outfits! Omg guys I was so excited to dress festival like you have NO idea and I’m so glad that so many of you loved them! I’ll go into each outfit down below as well as link for you to shop!
OUTFIT #1
First outfit was such a stressful one because I was a little unsure of it but it ended being such a good one! I wore cowboy boots because hello a festival in Texas! The shorts are from Aeropostale and paired it with a bodysuit from Express and on top wore a fringe swimsuit coverup. Lastly, I accessorized with a three chain gold necklace, a bunch of bracelets, and my cheetah belt bag.
OUTFIT #2
Not going to lie I think this was my favorite outfit of the weekend! I had to adjust the outfit because if you guys saw my Instagram post, it was FREEZING in Dallas. I didn’t take any jeans so I had to go buy jeans and the only store open at the time was Walmart. Luckily, Walmart came through and I got these baggy jeans and love the way the look turned out. The top was one I’ve shared from Amazon and the booties are from Forever 21. For accessories, I took these amazing gold belt, a clear white backpack, rainbow sunglasses, a ton of bracelets (again), and a hat!
OUTFIT #3
Last but not least was this outfit that most people said was super festival and I agree! You may notice this romper dress from the holiday season and it’s perfect dressed up or for a festival. I paired it with the same black booties and accessorized with a black double buckle belt, bracelets, some pearl clips, these fun silver statement necklace and my pink round sunglasses. Such a fun Coachella/festival look and you can definitely wear it to any festival!
