Here we are again posting about goals or as some refer them to resolutions. Who’s about goals and who’s about resolutions? If you’re about neither totally okay too! I’m more about goals so today I’m going to be sharing 5 of my goals for 2018. Let’s jump right into it!
FITNESS is probably on everyone’s list at the beginning of the year but I used to work out twice a day! It all fell apart when I took on my first job after college and I really want to get a workout routine back. Besides a “summer bod” I just want to do it so that I can feel better in some of the clothes I wear! Santa brought me way too many treats and I can see it in some of the clothes that I wear so getting back into a nice regime is so important! I’ve done BBG before so I’m thinking of doing that and taking some classes near me.
YOUTUBE is my newest venture and I’m kind of nervous about it. Mostly because I’ve built up negative thoughts in my head before and because I just feel like such a newbie! My goal for this year to get comfortable with it and of course get better at editing. I don’t feel that my videos look terrible but I’m sure I won’t feel that way at the end of the year. Don’t forget to subscribe if you haven’t!
SKINCARE is super important and it’s always been to me. This year had a lot of stress and ups and downs so I didn’t take care of it. My skin isn’t in bad shape but there are things I could change and this is the year. I’ve started using some new products and I’m trying to see what works for me. If you have normal to dry skin let me know some of your favorite products!
LIVE FREE is going to be my motto this year. I’m a huge planner and I will still be planning majority of my life but I want to leave about 20% of it free for anything. Within these last couple of months, I’ve had a lot of time to reflect and realize that I do great in a lot of aspects of my life. But no one is perfect and I need to leave some room for the unthinkable. I’m hoping this will give me more time to enjoy my moments with family and friends and just be there.
COOK MORE should truly be a to do by now but it isn’t. I hate cooking and I’m not even going to sugar coat it here. I’ve always been more into baking and I can make some killer pies but when we talk about roasting a chicken or making some baked veggies count me out! This year though I’m going to try to become a mini chef in the kitchen. I’m starting Whole 30 this upcoming week so that should definitely help with this goal, let’s just hope I hold onto it the entire year.
Here’s to a new year and I hope that all of you are able to accomplish your goals for the year. I’ll be happy to help keep you guys accountable as well as you can call me out on my BS! 🙂
XOXO,
Silvia M.

Ugh, cooking more should definitely be one of my resolutions. My fiancé and I relied on Uber Eats a little too much last year!

Fitness is one of my resolutions too! I finally got back into the gym in December so I’m hoping that motivation lasts into 2018!
