Hi everyone! There are a bunch of new people around here and I figured it was about time for me to answer all the questions that I get on Instagram on one page! Today’s post will be all about frequently asked questions.  I’ve complied the questions and here are my most asked questions. If you have any other questions you can always comment down below! Let’s jump right in!

1. How did you come up with your blog name?

Before having a blog and investing in Instagram, I was all about Tumblr! My tumblr was everything to me and I would just scroll and scroll to make the best tumblr page. I loved all the photos from food, to dogs, even amazing fashion pictures! I wanted to choose something cutesy so I came up with Lovely Silvia. Whenever I started my blog I just brought that name over with me.

2. How long have you been blogging?

This August marks 2 years I’ve been blogging.

3. What camera do you use?

I have two different cameras and I also use my iPhone sometimes. I have an iPhone 8 Plus, Sony A6000 with a 50 mm lens, and a Canon Rebel T6i with a 50 mm lens.

4. How do you maintain your blog and socials?

I have a schedule and every day is something different.  Instagram is an everyday thing and I try to spend at least 3 hours a day on it. Pinterest is every other day and Facebook & Twitter varies. I try to blog at least 3 times a week and usually stick to a MWF schedule even though recently it’s been TWF.

5. Who takes your photos?

Majority of my photos are taken by my fiancé. Every now and again I take photos with Houston blogger, Ressa. I also have worked with photographers and sometimes take them on my own with my remote and tripod.

6. Do you work on blogging full time?

I do work on my blog full time but also have other jobs that surround social media.

7. How do you afford so much clothes?

This is a common misconception. I do buy clothes but I also receive some clothes for free from companies. Whether they send me gift cards, codes, etc. they are free from the company.

8. How did you get approved with RewardStyle?

If you are applying for RewardStyle and haven’t gotten approved just keep trying! One of the things that helped me was having high engagement, posting consistently and just growing on Instagram. Studying their Instagram page also helps to see what they are looking for.

9. Are other bloggers nice?

I’m going to keep it real with you guys, some people portray different personalities in person. Most of the bloggers I’ve met are 100% amazing! I’m close with a few of them and have really made friends in this community. But I have met those that are not as “cool” as they seem on Instagram, or any other social media. So if you’re a new blogger I would say most are nice but again some people will always see the business as a competition.

10. Best advice for new bloggers?

Stay true to yourself! It’s easy to get attached and lose yourself in this business but remember why you started and how you got where you are. I’ve kept a lot of you guys around since I started and honestly it gives me so much happiness that you guys love what I’m doing for you!

11 .How long have you and your fiancé been together?

We have been together for 6 years and engaged for 4 months.

12. Are you in school and what did you go to school for?

I’m not in school but have been thinking of going back. More on that later but I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a focus on Public Relations.
