Hello everyone! Well I’m officially in Orlando! We won’t start Disney until tomorrow so today is kind of an exploring day. Maybe hitting the beach, hanging out at the resort, and Disney Springs in the evening! Make sure you follow along my Snapchat (silviaaa13) and Instagram stories (lovelysilvia)!
So in honor of this whole trip I thought I would talk about my first ever experience at Disney! Many of you know that I went to Disney last year and it was yes my very first time! Last year we took a trip out to St. Petersburg and also got to check out Tampa and anything in the area. We had such a good time! I decided since we were so close to Orlando that it would be good to check out a theme park like Seaworld or something. Of course I wasn’t thinking Disney because A. I knew people planned this kind of thing for a whole year or at least months in advance and I hadn’t and B. I had no idea what the pricing of it was and didn’t want to spend a small fortune (even though I did).
My boyfriend actually brought up the idea to go to Disney. His exact words “Really Seaworld… they have one in San Antonio. I think you mean Disney.” So there we were going to Disney! Of course I chose Magic Kingdom because come on it’s my FIRST time! It was very last minute and I had nothing planned! I had no idea about fast passes or setting up reservations at restaurants I mean NOTHING WAS PLANNED! (All my Disney fanatics are probably having anxiety just thinking about it.) Even though we had nothing planned I had such a great time! We got there early went into the park and it was literally the most magical feeling I’ve ever had!
Just walking down Main Street and seeing all the excitement and happy faces was an experience of its own. You could tell people here weren’t thinking about any problems that they might’ve had at home or any worries it was just happiness all around! We rode a couple of rides and then found out about fast passes and the Disney app. (Boy that saved us!) We actually went at a time that a hurricane was heading to Florida, specifically through Tampa (where our hotel was) and into Orlando.
It was raining the entire day but that couldn’t take away from the fact that we were at Disney and I was enjoying every second of it! We ate a ton of Mickey shaped food, got to go to a character experience dinner, watched the parades, and of course the fireworks! I know I definitely missed some thing’s at Magic Kingdom but I knew there would definitely be a next time!
This time around everything is planned! We have our fast passes ready, we checked the weather (which is beautiful by the way!), bought our tickets ahead of time, and of course made reservations at restaurants. We are beyond ready and I’m so excited! I’ve done my research and reading (through Pinterest of course so thanks Disney pinners!) and feel more than ready for my second time around.
I’m so excited for this trip and it’s perfect gift from Ryan! 🙂 As I said before follow me on my Snapchat and Instagram Stories and I’ll send some Disney magic to you too! Hope everyone has a great Wednesday and I’ll talk to you guys on Friday!
XOXO,
Silvia M.

Girl, I bet that going to Disney on a whim is a lot less stressful than planning and planning for it. I went as a kid but have YET to go back! I can’t wait to take my kiddos!
Oh you definitely do! They will love it and you will too!
I LOVE hearing about people’s Disney vacations! I worked at the Magic Kingdom for about 5 years, I still consider it my second home. I actually met my husband on Main Street. I am so glad you guys had a wonderful time. You are right, people watching there is a fun experience in itself! I love your photos!
Wow that’s amazing! I would love to work for Disney just to see what it’s like and to experience that magic! Thank you so much!

You need to Amy!
I have never been to Disney World (or on a roller coaster, for that matter), and for some reason have never had the desire to go… Is that strange? LOL
Not strange but you should definitely go at least once to say you did and to experience it! 🙂
I hope that you have the best time on your second trip! I’m convinced that nothing can put a damper on a Disney day, not even rain 😉

Seriously it’s so true!
This looks like so much fun! Rain only makes it prettier in my opinion. Love your attitude towards all of it!
