Happy Monday! With Easter being this weekend I’m all in the spirit and also I love pastels so yay for me! 🙂 Today I thought I would share a fun, cute, easy and super festive Easter dessert that is delicious and everyone in the family will enjoy!

I love making some sort of dessert for holidays because well it’s a holiday! Who doesn’t want to make extra special treats for special days? If you are going to be heading to a family Easter celebration or just want to do something with your kids this dessert is PERFECT! Trust me they will enjoy it and so will you! INGREDIENTS

-Jello Vanilla Pudding Mix (4 large boxes)
-Green Food Coloring (or any of your choice)
-Coconut flakes
-Peeps
-Peanut M&M’s
-Edible Grassingredients, trifle ingredients, easter trifle, easter dessert

ITEMS NEEDED

-2 bowls for pudding mix
-Trifle Bowl
-Whisk
-Spoons

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: Make pudding according to the instructions on the back of the box.  Two pudding boxes will go in each bowl.

Step 2: Once the pudding is done, take one of the bowls and add the green food coloring (or color of your choice).  I did two drops for a light green.pudding, trifle pudding, easter trifle

Step 3: Start with the yellow pudding on the bottom of the trifle bowl.  Even out with spoon.layering trifle, how to layer trifle

Step 4: Add the green pudding on top and even out with spoon.  You will have to lift some out and pull up towards the sides and middle to make it even.pudding, pudding mix, easter dessert, easy dessert

Step 6: Taking the coconut flakes and some more green food coloring for a grass type look.  I added four drops.making green flakes, easter dessert

Step 7: Taking the colored coconut flakes, sprinkle across the pudding.  Then you can start the decorating process!
