Good Morning friends! I’m sitting here in my new apartment writing my first post! It feels great to know that I’m finally moved in and I did a lot of sprucing this weekend. I also found my fall décor box and let’s just say I might have started pulling things out. Today’s post will be all about feeling and having confidence.
Let’s go ahead and state the obvious. Blogging is difficult as hell. It’s a ton of work to make a schedule for content, finding the content that everyone is going love, and of course promotion. It takes a ton of work and I literally put blood, sweat, and tears into this baby of mine. On top of all that you have to be confident in everything that you are doing.
I’ve said it before I’m not your typical “blogger girl” if there even is such a thing. I have curves and it’s not something that I can change or that I want to. But honestly, I’ve never felt more confident about myself than now. Are there things about myself that I want to change? Yes of course who doesn’t? Let’s be real. That doesn’t mean that I hate my look or shame myself for not having those changes.
I have always believed confidence can make or break a person. You see so many different types of people in this world and the thing that always sets a person apart from the crowd is their confidence. I remember walking in New York City one day and seeing this guy in a sea of black coats in the brightest fur coat long to the ground and you could see that confidence radiating. It was something so powerful and so beautiful that you couldn’t help but stare.
That’s the kind of confidence that will just make the average joe be the most beautiful person you’ve ever seen. I get questions all the time about how I do blogging and stay positive and confident. It’s simple guys. Just be confident. Own who you are and what you have to offer. The rest of the world will take notice and jump on your train!
I’m super happy that I have inspired so many people and that so many of you are feeding off my confidence. I’m here to give that to you guys! What I do anyone can do I promise. Just be yourself and show everyone who you are with every piece of yourself. Own it, stand up, and be loud. There is no way you won’t be noticed and no way others won’t be attracted and attached. Be you and show your beauty!
XOXO,
Silvia M.

You look amazing!! I love that yellow on you.

This yellow looks great on you! The idea that I keep coming back to is “you can’t expect others to like you if you don’t even like yourself!” It’s so true and has turned me into a way more confident person.

Glad your move went well! I think lack of confidence is something that a lot of people struggle with, including people who look “perfect.” I love what you said about liking yourself – you’re absolutely right that others can’t possibly like you if you don’t like yourself. My favorite confidence quote happens to be: “Confidence isn’t ‘They will like me.’ Confidence is ‘I’ll be okay if they don’t'”
Also, you are rocking this outfit! I adore those heels!!

I love this top on you! Being confident is always a challenge, and I think blogging made it both easier and harder for me. It’s enabled me to have confidence, but also given me a few reasons to have it shaken. Love your outlook here!

This is such a good reminder post! I’m not the typical blogger girl either, so it’s hard to have that confidence at times!
