Happy Wednesday! Today I’m going to be sharing my empty apartment tour! Most of you know that I recently moved into a new apartment and I’m so excited! New places are always the best because you can really use your creativity and personality to decorate your space.  I’m most excited for the amount of space we will be having because we were missing it and needing it!

A little background about us.  So we have lived in a 1X1 many of times but our last one was so small.  I’m talking 500 square feet.  For those who live up north (aka New York) you might be think that’s okay and normal but for us Texans it’s miniature.  I didn’t have enough room for all my stuff and we definitely didn’t have room to share spaces. 

Before this mini apartment, we had a 760 square feet apartment but with R needing to go back to school and him quitting his job it was just the right call to make so that we could save money but still live in an area that we liked and enjoyed! It was a tough 9 month stay but it was so worth it because he did what he needed to do and same goes for me! In the end, it was the right call for both of us.

Fast forward onto today and we now signed for a 2X2! We are over the moon because of course we get the space back and we get even more! We tend to have quite a few guests throughout the year so this will be perfect for when they visit! For the second bedroom, I’m going to be making it into an office/guest/closet/man cavish area. It will be mostly office but Ryan wants to add some personal touches so we will see how that goes.
