Good Morning & happy Friday! It’s been a crazy week and I’m so ready the weekend and to celebrate Easter with family and friends! Today’s post is going to be about what a day in my life is like on a weekend! Since I try to blog full time and work full time I wanted to share how I fit it all into my schedule.
Saturday’s usually start with waking up early and going to brunch with some blogger babes! Many of you know that I’m currently interning with a Houston blogger so Saturday mornings are for brunching and learning! The best part about getting together with a ton of bloggers is pictures! It’s such a great opportunity to take pictures and use them later for our blogs.
After brunch, I head home to spend some time with my little family. Depending on what’s going on that day I will either start working on my blog or go take pictures. Working on my blog consists of catching up on emails, replying back to comments on my blog, catching up on Instagram pods, and finishing up threads on Facebook.
This is also the time where I start to plan my blog posts. I’m trying to get better and plan out my posts at least a month at a time. Not going to lie though it’s very tough especially with working a full-time job, an internship, and of course trying to live life. So, if I am behind on planning posts this is the time I try to catch up or at least get an idea of what posts I will be writing for the week.
I also try and start writing some of my posts for the week so I’m not stuck doing them during the week but life is tough so sometimes this goes undone.
Once 3:30 hits I start to get ready to shoot some looks for the week. Also if anyone has a magic number for how many looks to take that would be AWESOME! Sometimes in the middle of the week I get stuck and have NO idea what to post on Instagram. Does anyone else go through this?
At about 4:15 I start to head out the door to take pictures. There are a couple of places to take pictures around Houston that I will go to depending on my mood and what I’m trying to go for. The place I took pictures in this post is at Highland Village right outside Restoration Hardware. It’s off of Weistheimer and is such a great place to take pictures!
Pictures usually take anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour (all depends on how many looks I’m shooting). I will usually edit the pictures as soon as I get home and have them ready to go for my blog or Instagram. At about 7:00 I’m done with all my blogging errands and I will just take the time to relax!
That about wraps up my weekend day filled with all my blogging responsibilities. I hope you guys enjoyed this and for all my bloggers out there if you have any tips to make my day easier TELL ME! I’m always looking for things to make my day a bit easier!
Have a Happy Easter friends!
XOXO,
Silvia M.

I love that you regularly get together with other bloggers for brunch. That is so fun! I totally relate to running out of pictures to post on Instagram. It’s hard to keep up!

They are! The get togethers help with a ton of brainstorming!
I love the ruffle sleeves and the little flower embroidery!
Thank you!
It only takes you an hour max to shoot pictures? It took my friend and I almost 2 hours to shoot four looks! Hahah you must have such a great process to get it done that quick!
Yes I have this whole process and it sucks when it doesn’t work! haha!
That is definitely great that you can meet up with other bloggers – I still haven’t found any around me yet! I usually keep my weekends free from anything work related – including blogging. This makes my weeks a little harder, but my weekends are wonderful! I also try and work out what I’m going to be blogging about a month at a time, which definitely helps me out – and if I know I’m doing a long post, I start on it earlier than normal!
Omg that helps so much! I need to think about that when it comes to blog posts! Thanks Cameron!
I love your outfit! It’s so spring!
Thank you!
How cute are you!! I love that top!
Thanks girl!
Love these tips!

I think it’s great how you try to batch your to-do’s!
It definitely helps getting everything done! Thank you!
Ahh I love a little behind-the-scenes! Your day sounds super productive and like you have everything planned out really well! I definitely need to learn how to do that more x
Thanks girl! It was a work in process to get it all down but it’s working!
That top is seriously the cutest! I love it with white denim!
