I hope everyone is having a fabulous day and isn’t to hurt after this past weekend sales (I might be).  I bought so many things and the sad thing is that I’m not even done Christmas shopping!  How does this happen!?!  Well at least I got a lot of new things that you will be seeing in upcoming posts!

Today’s post is all about a fun and exciting collaboration.  I’ve got the awesome opportunity to work with Birchbox and I have so many great and wonderful things to tell you!  First off if you don’t know what Birchbox is let me tell you!  Birchbox is a monthly subscription service that sends out new and exciting beauty products.  It’s $10 a month and they send you out 5 great products to try for the month.

I received the November Birchbox and it came with all kinds of goodies. They named the box ‘The Finishing Touch’ and it’s all about the extra details that give an extra ‘oomph‘ in your beauty!  I thought it was a clever idea and when I saw what was inside… well that’s the fun part! fullsizeoutput_b40

As I mentioned I received 5 products in the box.  The first item I pulled out was the ‘Juliette Has a Gun’ perfume.  It’s a spicy scent which I think is perfect for date nights or nights when you are going out.  (Perfect for holiday gatherings!)  I have never heard of this brand but the scent was surprisingly what I usually go for! I received a sample size but the full-size bottle goes for $100-135.

The second item I pulled out was the ‘Benefit They’re Real’ mascara.  Now this one I’ve heard of before and I’ve used.  It’s an awesome mascara especially for those who have short lashes and are looking for ways to make them look long & thick.  The full-size retails for $24.

The third product was an eyeliner.  I saw the brand and couldn’t believe it.  Now I don’t know how many of you are into beauty or makeup but I have been for a long time!  The eyeliner pencil was from the brand ‘Ardency Inn.’  I have heard nothing but wonderful things from this brand and was super excited to test it.  Of course, it was amazing and I’m glad I could try it through this box. Onto the fourth product was a smoothing balm.  It’s by the brand ‘Number 4.’  I usually never put much product in my hair because I have thin hair and I feel like a lot of products weigh it down but I was pleasantly surprised by this one.  First it leaves my hair soft I mean extremely! The balm protects against heat damage which is thumbs up in my book and humidity (another thumbs up because Houston).  It also claims to reduce frizz and that one I’m not sure of.  I mean my hair isn’t super frizzy but it’s kind of hard for it not to be frizzy in Houston.  The full-size retails for $30.

The last product in the box was something that I need more of so I was happy to see this in the box.  It’s a tinted wonder eye cream by the brand ‘Balance Me.’  It has cucumber which soothes and a ton of vitamins that fight against anti-aging.  It’s very light weight and I absolutely love it!  This may just be my favorite product in the box.  The full-size retails for $38.fullsizeoutput_b3f

Overall I enjoyed this box!  There were a lot of new products in here for me and almost all of them worked for me!  This was the November box but I’m sure the December box comes with just as many goodies! Head over to Birchbox to see what they are offering for December!  This subscription box would also be an awesome Christmas present friends, sisters, moms, girl bosses, girlfriend, etc. They also have subscription boxes for men for those who don’t know what to get for the men in their life.   I mean who wouldn’t want to receive new fun goodies every month at their doorstep? 🙂
